There is a Yiddish saying "Der Mensch tracht und G’t lacht". It roughly translates to English as "A person thinks but the God steers".
A few years ago we had no idea that everyone involved in the production of this album will be scattered throughout the world by the destiny. We all were friends in Riga, Latvia, and used to make music together. With the fall of the "Iron Curtain" each of us has found the life in a new land. Nevertheless, our friendship and love to the music continues. Thus we have met again to produce this CD together.
We wish you at least so much pleasure and fun listening to it as we had while recording.

Es gibt ein jiddisches Sprichwort „Der Mensch tracht und G’t lacht“. Auf Deutsch in etwa: „Der Mensch denkt und G’t lenkt“.
Vor etlichen Jahren hatten wir alle an dieser CD beteiligten keine Vorstellung davon, wie die Geschichte uns in die ganze Welt verstreuen wuerde. Wir waren Freunde in Riga und musizierten zusammen. Mit dem Einbruch des 'eisernen Vorhangs' ist auch unsere Gruppe auseinandergebrochen. Jeder von uns fand seinen Weg in ein neues Land. Unsere Freundschaft und Liebe zur Musik blieben jedoch bestehen. So trafen wir uns etliche Male wieder, um diese CD gemeinsam zu produzieren.
Wir wuenschen euch mindestens soviel Spass beim Hoeren wie wir ihn beim Aufnehmen hatten.
